had the pleasure of working on Roald Dahl's "little Red Riding Hood", for which he designed and created in latex an amusing and visually brilliant Wolf. Further to this I was fortunate to see his extraordinary talent at work in VCA's production of "The English Eccentrics".

Not only is Josh an extremely talented artist, his attitude to his work and the productions is excellent. I highly recommend him to anyone considering the engagement of a hair and make-up artist. I wish him all the best in his career and his endeavours and look forward to working with him again.

Regarding Josh Counsel, Make-Up Artist

Mr Counsel has worked on a number of productions for Orlando Opera. Most recently he did a magnificent job designing and applying make-up and wigs for our production of H.M.S Pinafore. His work can be seen on our web site at www.orlandoopera.org

Mr Counsel works quickly, efficiently and within budget. He is very creative and able to work under less than ideal circumstances when necessary. He has a wide range of theatrical experience- from film to musicals, to opera, and as a performer himself he is most understanding of the particular needs and comfort of those for whom he is designing. I can personally attest to this as I also performed the role of Dick Deadeye, and Josh did a magnificent job of making me look appropriately old and salty, including a prosthetic device that looked terribly gross as it partially covered my "dead" eye, but still allowed me to see comfortably.

I have worked with a number of make-up and wig designers over the past 30 years, and find Josh to be among the top few that I would recommend without reservation. For any further details, please contact me directly at the number below, or by e-mail: swedberg@orlandoopera.org

To whom it may concern

Josh Counsel is a true professional. He is extremely knowledgeable and proficient in make-up artistry.
Josh is also creative and innovative in make-up design and application.

It was my good fortune to watch Josh conduct a workshop on make-up application with my theatre classes. He worked well with the students and was patient and considerate of their abilities. The students were completely mesmerized with his artistry and creativity. Because of his enthusiasm for his craft, he was able to inspire the students.

I do believe that Josh would be an asset to any organization. He is a pleasure to work with and his abilities are astounding.

It gives me great pleasure to write this reference for Josh. I had the good fortune to have him as my make-up and hair designer for a recent production of Mozart's "Abduction from The Seraglio". Josh's work was excellent, he created some brilliant character make-ups and facial hair design.

We also ºEÂ\Qò„¸ÿÿÿü€epdPÿÿÿü€ had the pleasure of working on Roald Dahl's "little Red Riding Hood", for which he designed and created in latex an amusing and visually brilliant Wolf.
